TANTIBVS is more than an artist—it’s an identity forged in darkness, carved from the raw chaos of survival and expression. From a young age, I was drawn to the macabre, captivated by comics, horror films, and the bleak beauty of the unknown. Video games and music became my lifeblood, shaping the landscapes of my art and sound. Though I never walked the halls of an art school, I honed my craft through relentless self-teaching, guided by my brothers and an unshakable need to create.

In 2011, everything shattered. A car crash stole my memories, leaving me with retrograde amnesia and a fractured sense of self. I had to relearn the world, rebuild my foundation. That’s when I first touched acrylics, painting my way through the fog. From that wreckage, TANTIBVS was born—a masked alter ego, a manifestation of trauma and transformation. The mask itself has shifted forms over the years, evolving with me. Maybe one day, I’ll leave it behind. Maybe one day, I’ll simply be myself.

But the art remains. NIHILUM rose from the ashes of that near-death experience, a graphic novel universe shaped by grief, purgatory, and the weight of existence. “Wander in the Nether” carries that legacy forward, diving deeper into the unknown.
